I saw Seinfeld last night in Portland. I was running pretty late (got there 10 minutes after the show had started), but luckily someone else had been doing stand-up beforehand to warmup the audience. I never caught his name, but he was pretty funny. He was a black man, so of course he commented on how there are about 9 black people in Portland (this is Portland, Maine). Predictable, but he made it funny.

Next was Jerry, who really took no time between transitions to enter the stage. He has such a great presence in the room, you know? He had hilarious comments about the human condition and then some, but I won't make any specifics. He did reuse some material from the show, but not through an act of laziness--he made cracks at contemporary times. That's just his talent, and he did a damn fine job at it.

I know that most of Newgrounds may be a bit too young to appreciate Seinfeld, but I'm sure most of you can recognize him from reruns of the show, or even that one commercial he did with Bill Gates. I myself am a bit too young to fully appreciate him, since he talked on a few adult topics such as marriage and kids, but I still had a blast.

In the video, you'll see a cricket jump into a pool, and then after it has drowned, a long worm will swim out of its carcass.

The gordian worm is a nifty creature: it's a parasite, and when it enters its host, it can take over nervous and muscle tissues. While inside the host, it steals nutrients, then when it's had its share, it makes the host kill itself, and the gordian worm leaves the body to look for yet another host.

I don't believe it has the power to do this to the large and complex human system, so no need to worry about suicidal zombies... YET.
