A little dull...

Through out the entire movie (except for some parts) there was just two pixelated guys singing a song (which I did not really care for). The ony part that moved of these people is their mouths (which did sync with the music well; I will give you that).

Basically, this bored me because it was only two guys just singing a song I didn't like. Perhaps you could have them move a little more... or do something besides just singing.

I know about the bad animation in this flash and my next flash, I'll try and make the animation better. Suggestions from people about how to make the flash better help. Thanks for that review.

Nice song

The gun and bullet looked nice. It would have been better if you had not used blobs (but it's better than sticks in some cases). The blood looked pretty good.

The song was good, though. I remember it on Jet Grind Radio. Thanks for bringing back memories of a good game. :)

That game was a good game.

I hate reviewing collabs...

Because some of the movie are good and some are not.

I would have to say my favorite was TwoStar's movie, because it had some kind of a plot.

Vozz, your movie was... odd. Maus, Wade, Tom, and Ozcar dancing... meh, I don't care for it.

StarberryClock, gotta love those funky beats, but it was a little short. The stars did not do much besides dance.

Winshester, your movie was my second favorite. The animation was funny. It was kind of short, though. It would have been better if he had kept on going and peeing on other dead people.

Finally, penisstar... WTF?

War of the Worlds was pretty good.

Crazy describes this well. :o

My favorite was -GFC-'s, for it was animated the best out of the rest of the movies. TwoStar's audio seemed to be a little messed up, but it did have a point (LF movies aren't too great; quite over-rated). I can't say anything about ThreeStar's movie because it was not finished. As for Vozz, it was just some guy moving a microphone up and down with an odd song playing in the background.

Grandfather-Clock saved this movie.

Science does rule, and so does Bill Nye

Overall, I did like this movie. Bill Nye is awesome, and I saw him on G4 (AOTS) a couple of days ago.

You chose some good pictures, and you synced the song well with the animation. I gave you a 2 in "Violence" because of the seizure-inducing background at one point. :p

Good and funny movie.

Frankiedaman responds:

Ah yes. Can't go wrong with a good ol' fasioned seizure...

BATTLE ROYALE!

I love Battle Royale. :)

Anyways, about your movie... I liked the beginning (the pre-loader looked pretty good), it was well animated, but it appeared as if you were getting a little lazy with animation near the middle of the movie... The main thing I didn't like is that their heads were too fat/big. If you slimmed down their cheeks, it would look a lot more realistic.

I especially liked the beginning when it showed that year's winner; the girl looked quite frightening! But, like I said, the middle was a downer. I've never seen the movie, so I don't know what happens in it, but I have read the book, and it was different... Perhaps the book was different than the movie...

In my opinion, basing your movie off of the book, or perhaps even the manga, would have been better. I wanted to see Shogo trying to break out of the bus, and I wanted to hear Shuuya's thoughts while he saw Shogo do this. Instead, they were just placed in random places to fight.

The sound/music was pretty good. I don't think Queen was the best option for Shuuya's rock; something like "the pillows" would have been good, or even something from the Newgrounds Audio Portal (with a guitar of course). The Audio Portal would be the best option because Shuuya should play something most people can't recognize.

More voice acting would have been better. Voices can show a character's personality, and I think you could have some fun with that.

The ending was kind of abrupt, so most people that have not seen/heard of Battle Royale might not like it as much, and some people who have heard of Battle Royale might not even care for it. Perhaps when all of the characters (at least the main ones) were shown on the island, then that would have been a better place to put your "To Be Continued".

Also, there was some miss-spellings in the movie (the title, most importantly). I'm sure you can spot them if you watch the movie a few times.

Over-all, this movie was good. The animation was mostly great, but I think there should be better music, and more voice acting. Good job, you just need to improve in some areas.

I'm adding this movie to my favorites though; I love Battle Royale, and this seemed to represent it pretty well. :)

Yes, my first laugh of the day!

The graphics were just as good as ever, and the humor was awesome. The beginning was quite unpredictable, which I loved. The music made me a little creeped out when he was plunging the toilet, though; I thought a creepy face would pop out of no where and scream at me (as they often do).

Thanks for not making it a screamer! Oh, and good job on the hilarious movie!

Quite good for a first try, I must say!

The graphics weren't too good (however, the bullet dust looked good) and the lack of plot really weighs it down. If you want a good-scoring movie, you should really try to add some plot to it, and not just some random fights with a ninja.

I have seen many other movies just like this (no plot, only fighting), and they aren't much better or worse.

But good job for a first try.

I don't tend to care for sprite movies...

But I will try not to be biased in this review.

Alright, the graphics were good (for a sprite movie), the sound was good (Mortal Kombat), and it did make me chuckle. I guess if you had used something other than sprites it would have lost its classic MK feeling, so you had a reason to use sprites.

This movie is worth a look, even if you don't enjoy sprite movies, like myself.

This movie was quite interesting. :)

I liked the plot, that's what hooked me. And the graphics were pretty good for a sprite movie. It would have been better if it were longer, though. Maybe next time it can be. :o

But it was good.

RupeeClock responds:

Dude, 11000 frames not long enough? X_X;

That's like 6 minutes.

Now he's poorly from too much electric.
